Under medical or RN supervision, the Licensed Psychiatric Technician shall include, but not limited to:
• Provide basic administrative, clerical, and medical services that are consistent with the scope of certification and in accordance with physicians order and CDC facility policy and procedures.
• Give a basic level of general behavioral and psychiatric nursing care to mentally or developmentally disabled inmates/patients.
• Conduct daily clinical rounds and monitoring of inmates/patients with signs and symptoms or mental illness.
• Gives first aid as needed.
The Licensed Psychiatric Technician will also need to submit the following documents by fax or email:
1. Resume
2. Copy of Psychiatric Technician License
3. Copy of CPR
