Duties:
MUST HAVE A PASSION FOR Cannabis

Some of this job will require travel around the central coast and sometimes overnight. This job does not always have traditional hours as some of the meetings we attend are in the evenings.

Desirable skills:
Ability to create and present Power Point presentations. Create white papers. Do research on cannabis news and technology. Up on current industry practices and news. Skill to write topic memos and ability to review and decipher cannabis regulations and ordinances related to licensing.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS
Writing, editing, database management skills needed. Event management and organization.

WEBSITE, Social media, database management, email communication for association skills desired.

As Executive Assistant my job responsibilities include some fundraising, attending meetings and some speaking as assigned, some educational outreach and various administrative roles. TRAINING PROVIDED.

My other general functions related to the focus above:

Maintaining and growing organizational operations, i.e. Office, website, face book and general public presence.

Office management, Direct Email Campaign, volunteer organization, some accounting and record keeping, data basing, thank you letters, follow ups, Event Management, etc.

All media, content, communications, collecting of news data, organizing media events and interviews, and so forth.

Website admin Facebook/YouTube/Twitter Manager:

Facebook/YouTube/Twitter growing site memberships, daily content updates, responses to all inquires daily, ideas on new content; create/grow education and awareness.

Excellent writing and communication skills,
Able to navigate with ease the Facebook and Youtube pages and excellent internet communication skills.

Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, well organized, self-motivated, reliable
Good interpersonal skills, results-oriented, friendly and a sense of humor

Ability to manage online communications including: creating html email templates, transmitting mass emails, building & maintaining multiple databases.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist with day to day meetings
Bi-lingual a plus but not required

Helpful Qualifications:
Self-starter with excellent communication and customer service skills
Solve problems with little or no guidance, but know when to seek input
Efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously; must be able to effectively prioritize, multi-task and adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities


Requirements:
Valid drivers license and dependable car
Available to work days, evenings and weekends (as necessary)
